The 5^th meeting of the National Expo Committee was held by the presence of the representatives of various organizations which are related to this committee in the Pearl Hall (Morvarid Hall) of the Islamic Republic of Iran International Exhibitions Company.

According to the reporting by Public Relations and International Affairs of the I.R.IRAN International Exhibitions Company, discussion and review about the content programs and the role of unions and organizations related to the aims and also powerful & effective presence in this international event, as well as presenting performance reports and actions which have done by the specialized departments of the Expo Committee and the construction progress of the Islamic Republic of Iran pavilion were among the issues which have discussed at the meeting.

Explaining the strategic goal of Iranology and attracting international investments were considered as the important decisions of this meeting, which were approved by the present members on this meeting.

This meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade on Commercial Affairs, Dr. Mofateh; Advisor to the Minister, Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of the I.R.IRAN International Exhibitions Company, Dr. Hassan Zamani; Head of the National Carpet Center of Iran, Ms. Rafe and also some representatives from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Organization of Investment and Economic & Technical Assistance of Iran, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Sports and Youth, and other organizations and institutions which are member in the National Expo Committee.

The representatives of the organizations and institutions which are member in the National Expo Committee presented their suggestions and comments in this meeting too.

It is noteworthy that, Dubai Expo 2020 will be held in ​​500 hectares from October 2021 by the presence of 195 countries and international organizations with "Connecting Minds and Creating the Future" as the slogan in the UAE that the pavilion of the Islamic Republic of Iran is located at the Mobility Zone next to the pavilions of France and Peru on ​​2014 square meters.
