Dr. Zamani traveled to the UAE to meet and negotiate with the Secretary General of the World Exhibitions Association (BIE) and the Commissioner General and officials of other countries at the World Expo Summit.

According to the reporting by the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran International Exhibitions Company ( IIEC PR ), Advisor to the Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade, Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of the I.R.IRAN International Exhibitions Company, Dr. Zamani who headed a delegation to Dubai, UAE; participated in the "Coordination Seminar with the Commissar Generals of the Pavilions at the Dubai Expo 2020" on Tuesday, May 4^th , and presented at the meeting with the Secretary General of the World Exhibitions Association (BIE) and the Commissar General and officials of other countries and met and discussed with them.

At the beginning of this meeting, the Minister of International Cooperation of the UAE and Director General of Expo 2020 Dubai, Ms. Reem Al-Hashemi welcomed the guests, and also messages from the UAE President, Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Dubai Governor, Mr. Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum were read that all of them emphasized on the commitment and full support to the participants by senior UAE officials to holding the 2020 Dubai Expo gloriously.

During this meeting, Dr. Zamani met with Commissar Generals and relevant officials of some countries such as France (the French pavilion is adjacent to the pavilion of our country), Denmark, Pakistan, Malaysia, Iraq and the Philippines and announced that we are ready to implement the joint programs, exchange the trade delegations and coordination of visits and holding B2B meetings to make synergy for the Islamic Republic of Iran pavilion with the other pavilions of the intended countries which this subject was accepted by them.

It is notable that; How to hold the expo in the corona virus pandemic, the operational schedule of the expo, the announcement of content programs and security issues, and  also how to interact and carry out joint programs of the pavilions & etc. are considered as the objectives of this international meeting.
