One of the largest foreign pavilions of our country that is called as the Islamic Republic of Iran Solo Exhibition was inaugurated in Armenia during a ceremony attended by officials from Iran and Armenia in Yerevan.

According to the reporting by the Public Relations and International Affairs of the I.R.IRAN International Exhibitions Company (I.I.E.C PR), the Islamic Republic of Iran Solo Exhibition in Armenia was inaugurated with the presence and speech of Advisor to the Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade, Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of the I.R.IRAN International Exhibitions Company, Dr. Hassan Zamani; Ambassador of our country to Armenia, Dr. Abbas Badakhshan Zohuri; Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia, CEO of the Exhibitions Company of Armenia and other officials and other people who involved in organizing this exhibition along with a large number of businessmen, traders and enthusiasts in Yerevan Expo Center.

In this exhibition, more than 100 Iranian companies from some sectors such as energy and electricity, construction, food and agriculture, medicine and medical equipment, industrial estates and knowledge-based companies have presented their latest achievements to specialists, experts and other enthusiasts.

It is worth mentioning that in the opening ceremony of this exhibition, Dr. Zamani gave a speech on 5 important and basic subjects and explained the objectives of this exhibition, the most important of them are as follow:

1 - The Islamic Republic of Iran Solo Exhibition in Armenia, which has been held with the high participation of important and capable scientific, industrial, technical and engineering companies, shows the serious determination of the Islamic Republic of Iran to develop its economic and trade relations with Armenia and the Eurasia region.

2 - Some trade meeting between industry owners, traders and businessmen of the two countries has been scheduled on this exhibition to promote the economic and trade cooperation, joint ventures and facilitate customs relations to reach to the basic agreements.

3 - In this regard, the I.R.IRAN International Exhibitions Company have signed an MOU  with the Yerevan Expo Center on this exhibition to provided the necessary conditions and bases for the continuous presence of Iranian companies in Armenia as a gateway to the Eurasian region and the presence of Armenian companies in the Iranian market too.

4 - Also on the 9^th July 2021, along with the big exhibition of IRAN ELECOMP in Tehran International Permanent Fairground, we will hold the big exhibition of 5 Eurasian countries (Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan); So, We hope that Armenia will participate on an effective and serious presence with all its capacities like other countries of this region.

5 - I sincerely appreciate all Iranian companies which are participating in this exhibition, as well as respected Iranian organizers who are cooperating with the Islamic Republic of Iran International Exhibitions Company on holding this exhibition, and also the booth constructor companies which have showed their capabilities; and my dear colleagues in the Yerevan Expo Center and the Ministry of Economy of Armenia for their best hosting, and especially the valuable assistance and cooperation of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Armenia and his colleagues who made great efforts to organize this exhibition too.
