Dr. Hassan Zamani, Commissioner General and the Representative of Iran at the Expo 2020 Dubai Exhibition, announced: “After three years of continuous efforts by the National Expo Headquarters, consisting of various ministries and the private sector, Expo 2020 Dubai and the pavilion of the Islamic Republic of Iran in this exhibition were officially opened on1^st October 2021. The ceremony was attended by the Commissioner General and Dr. Hosseini, Chargé d"Affaires of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran.”

According to the reporting by the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran International Exhibitions Company (IIEC PR), Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of the I.R.IRAN International Exhibitions Company added: “The advantage of this Expo in Dubai compared to other courses is that 12 halls planned in the pavilion of the Islamic Republic of Iran; so, tourist halls, handmade carpets, theater, industry, mine house, HighTech, commercial section, Iranian restaurant consisting of Iranian space, traditional Iranian drinks can be visited in this exhibition.”

Dr. Zamani continued: “The responsibility and content of each hall under the supervision of the Expo headquarters, belongs separately to the company and its relevant unit.”

Adviser to the Minister of Industry-Mine & Trade stated: “In the special section of the pavilion, (Simorgh) the mythical bird of (Ferdowsi Shahnameh), is exposed to the visitors and introduces a part of Iranian culture, history and literature to the visitors. Also, the texture of Iranian handmade carpets as a prominent Iranian art, as a knot to empathy, has attracted the attention of many fans and visitors of the Iranian pavilion.”

He added: “It is reminded that the official opening of the Islamic Republic of Iran pavilion will be done by the Minister of Industry-Mine & Trade on Saturday 2^nd October 2021 at 10.30 via video conference.”

Adviser to the Minister of Industry-Mine & Trade, Dr. Hassan Zamani announced in a message that I appreciate and thank all the persons who involved to lunch the pavilion of the Islamic Republic of Iran and also the Expo Committee for their full time efforts that caused to inauguration of our pavilion on the first day of the expo, and welcomed and encounter by crowds of visitors too.
