The pavilion of the Islamic Republic of Iran was inaugurated at Expo 2020 Dubai by the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mr. Fatemi Amin via video conference.

According to the reporting by the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran International Exhibitions Company (IIEC PR), the opening ceremony of the Islamic Republic of Iran pavilion in Expo 2020 Dubai with the presence of Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, Mr. Fatemi Amin; Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade and Chairman of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, Mr. Peyman Pak held in Tehran virtually and with the presence of Commissioner General of Iran at the Expo, Dr. Zamani; Deputy Minister of Tourism of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism, Mr. Shalbafian; Chargé d"Affaires of the Iranian Embassy in the UAE, Dr. Hosseini and other foreign officials in Dubai.

At the beginning of this ceremony, Commissioner General of Iran at the Expo, Dr. Zamani appreciated all people who involved in setting up the pavilion of the Islamic Republic of Iran at Expo 2020 Dubai.

He added: "The great presence of foreign guests and officials in the opening ceremony of the Islamic Republic of Iran pavilion shows the empathy and cooperation of these countries with the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

Dr. Zamani pointed out at the end of this ceremony that: “The pavilion of the Islamic Republic of Iran is located in one of the best places of the Dubai Expo and is known as one of the top eight pavilions of this event.”

Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, Mr. Fatemi Amin also thanked the foreign officials who present at the opening ceremony of the Islamic Republic of Iran pavilion and said: "Expanding economic relations with neighboring countries is one of the special priorities of our government.”

“The Dubai Expo event has a good capacity to expand interactions and communication between nations.” He added

In the end, Mr. Fatemi Amin thanked and appreciated the efforts of Dr. Zamani as the Commissioner General of Iran in the Expo and all those involved in organizing and launching the pavilion of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
