One Hundred and Sixty-Ninth General Assembly of the World Exhibitions Association (BIE) was held with the presence of Dr. Hasan Zamani, Advisor to the Minister of Industry - Mine and Trade, Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of the Islamic Republic of Iran International Exhibitions Company and the Commissioner General of I.R.IRAN in Expo 2020 Dubai on behalf of our country by using a webinar.

According to the reporting by the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran International Exhibitions Company (IIEC PR), in this meeting which was formed by the presence of this forum members virtually, at first a report about the budgeting, membership of new members (Zimbabwe), The success rate in informing the world exhibition industry by BIE in social networks and cyberspace and some other issues related to this forum were presented and heard by the members.

At the next part a report about how to prepare and hold the 2020 Dubai Expo; Japan readiness for the 2025 Expo in Osaka, as well as a report on the 2023 Amsterdam and Doha Horticultural Exhibitions in Qatar were presented.

A report about the city of Minnesota in the United States for holding a specialized expo in 2027 was presented to the participants later.

At the end of the meeting, Russia (Moscow), Ukraine (Odessa), Italy (Rome), South Korea (Busan) and Saudi Arabia (Riyadh) as candidates for the 2030 Expo introduce their plans for hosting this event.
