Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine & Trade, Dr. Mohammad Sadegh Mofateh attended on the fifth meeting of the National Expo Committee and was informed about the progress of the measures which have taken place on any specialized committees of Expo 2020.

According to the reporting by the Public Relations & International Affairs of the I.R.IRAN International Exhibitions Company, at the beginning of this meeting, Dr. Mofateh, while appreciating the efforts which have done till now; said: "Expo, as the World Cultural Olympic, is a place of confrontation through the cultures, and we must participate in this global event rely on cultural, scientific and industrial capacities powerfully."

He added: "This international event is the best opportunity to resist against the cultural invasion and introduce the rich culture and diversity of Iranian ethnicities."

The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine & Trade added: "We will be able to attract international investors, promote knowledge and technology, if we can overcome the issue of Iranophobia in this event."

He noted in another part of his speech that: "Iranian progress in the field of Nanotechnology, Military and Oil & Petrochemical Downstream Industries should be well exposed to visitors as the national self-confidences."

Dr. Mofateh further emphasized: "necessary measures and their follow-ups should be done in order to cover the live event of Expo 2020 Dubai by using the cyberspace platforms, radio and television networks."

At the end, he also continued and emphasized to follow up the budget issues which will relate to the implementation of Expo 2020 Dubai.
