Islamabad, Sept 14, A three-day Health Asia International Exhibition and Conference ended in Pakistan’s Karachi with Iran’s presence.

- According to the reporting by Public Relations & International Affairs of the Islamic Republic of IRAN International Exhibitions Company (I.I.E.C) based on the related news in "IRNA":

Asghar Azami, head of Iranian delegation participating in the exhibition, said that taking part in the expo was a good experience which helped Pakistani consumers and other participating countries to know about the quality of Iranian pharmaceutical industry.

He said that about 100 square meter area was allocated for the Iranian stalls in which Iranian pharmaceutical products and detergents were displayed which attracted large number of people.

He added that on the sidelines of the exhibition Iranian industrialists and exporters had useful meetings with their Pakistani counterparts.

Asghar Azami said that it was decided in the meetings that a famous Iranian pharmaceutical company would open its office in Pakistan.

He said that two Iranian companies have also agreed to cooperate with their counterparts in Pakistan in producing pharmaceutical products.

Around 500 delegates from 25 countries including Iran, China, Singapore, India, the United States of America, Britain, Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy and Turkey attended the expo. The companies participating in the three-day exhibition showcased 912 brands at different stalls.

Health Asia International Exhibition and Conferences, incorporating Pharma Asia International Exhibition and Conferences, is the Biggest Annual Health and Pharmaceutical Industry Event of Pakistan.

This three-day annual event started 14 years ago in a single hall and has now grown into the biggest annual gathering of the related Industries stake.

Health Asia is directed towards making investors especially from the OIC and Asian Countries realize the conducive and congenial investment environment in Pakistan on the one hand and maximizing the potential of locally manufactured equipment and instruments along with locally trained human resource for export potentials on the other hand.

Internationally reputed hospitals, medical universities, pharmaceutical companies, official delegations of ministries of health of all the OIC and Asian countries, medical equipment manufacturers are the major participants of Health Asia.
