Iran Solo Exhibition in Armenia is a turning point in trade with northern neighbor

The presence of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Armenia will start by holding the solo exhibition.

According to the reporting by the Public Relations and International Affairs of the I.R.IRAN International Exhibitions Company, due to the special conditions of the region, which was affected by the new political atmosphere related to the war between Azerbaijan and Armenia over the disputed region of Karabakh; a new arrangement was created in our northern neighborhood, so, Armenia trade relations with Turkey stopped completely and it is interested in provide the required goods from Iran; on the other hand; in the last few years, Iranian goods has been able to improve the quality and its position in Armenia but this trading does not happen regularly and continuously and It is formed by intermediaries mostly.

Following the recommendation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and also the Ministry of Industry, Mine & Trade to increase interaction with this country, the Islamic Republic of Iran International Exhibitions Company will prove once again that the holding solo exhibition in that country is the best tool to increase trade and export relations. So, holding the exhibition and display Iranian goods and services will provide the conditions and context for the presence of top companies and brands in Armenia on June next year and we will witness a turning point in bilateral communications and interactions of the country.

Economic and political officials will be present and will lead meetings and negotiations between Iranian businessmen and the target country on the occasion of holding this exhibition simultaneously.

Hamidreza Amoli, Manager of the Public Relations and International Affairs of the I.R.IRAN International Exhibitions Company and Director of this Exhibition Project of Iran in Yerevan told to reporters that: “this event was organized in cooperation with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Armenia and the Embassy of Armenia in Tehran. This event will be led by the Trade Promotion Organization, Iran Chamber of Commerce, and the Ministry of Energy as the chairman of the Joint Commission, and private sector organizations as the Policy Council too.

Amoli also said that: “by the negotiations with the Armenian Exhibition Company (Yerevan Expo) and the Chamber of Commerce of the other side; they expressed their desire to increase cooperation with our country and a cooperation agreement (MOU) was signed and shown by the presence of the head of economic department of the Islamic Republic of Iran Embassy.”

It is noteworthy that, this exhibition will be held in the middle of June 2021.
