The joint meeting of the Strategic Committee of Foreign Exhibitions of Iran International Exhibition Organizers Association (IEOA) and the Exhibition Deputy of the I.R.IRAN International Exhibitions Company was held.

According to the reporting by the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran International Exhibitions Company ( IIEC PR), the first joint meeting of the Strategic Committee of Foreign Exhibitions of Iran International Exhibition Organizers Association (IEOA) and the Exhibition Deputy of the I.R.IRAN International Exhibitions Company was held by the invitation of Iran International Exhibition Organizers Association (IEOA),at the Isfahan Hall in the Tehran International Permanent Fairground on Tuesday, May 11, with the presence of Deputy of Exhibition Affairs of the I.R.IRAN International Exhibitions Company, Mr. Mohammad Javad Ghanbari; Manager of the Foreign Exhibitions, Mr. Nader Rashidi; Chairman of the IEOA, Mr. Abolghasem Salar Rezaei; Secretary of the Association, Mr. Ali Ebrahimzadeh, and also the other members of this association to exchange views on Foreign exhibition development and inviting international companies and organizations to participate in domestic exhibitions, as well as improving the quality of exhibitions by obtaining and granting representation.

In this meeting, they discussed about how to work together, implement the memorandum of understanding (MOU) between each other, how to make marketing internationally, the possibility of using facilities related to foreign exhibitions, using the capacities and facilities of the IIEC and the IEOA and each member of the association.

At the beginning of the meeting, each member of the committee explained the relevant issues. The chairman and the secretary of the association explained the views of the association on the issue of developing foreign exhibitions too.

In continuation of this meeting, Deputy of the Exhibitions Affairs of the I.R.IRAN International Exhibitions Company, Mr. Ghanbari announced that: ”we promise to do an extensive and meaningful cooperation following the instructions by the Advisor to the Minister, Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of the I.R.IRAN International Exhibitions Company, Dr. Hassan Zamani”. He also pointed out that: “this is a golden opportunity to accompany between the IIEC and the IEOA and hold monthly meetings by presenting the agenda as well as developing and expanding exhibitions in new markets based on justification plans and using all efforts to improve the quality of exhibitions in addition to invitations from the foreign and international companies to attend Tehran exhibitions, using the space with other exhibition sites on interested countries and inviting international marketers for mutual cooperation can be the most important step for this period of time.”

Mr. Ghanbari reminded that, I.R.IRAN International Exhibitions Company is ready to cooperate with the IEOA in other fields in addition to the contents of the memorandum.

He also stressed on the meeting that we should facilitate activities and prevent the possible obstacles to reach to the maximize success.

It is noteworthy that, at the end of this meeting, each member of the committee also spoke about the relationship between domestic and foreign exhibitions and provided explanations in this regard. So, it was decided that the IEOA should reflect the desired items by writing and sending to the IIEC.
