Dr. Hassan Zamani and Dr. Abbas Badakhshan Zohouri met and talked with each other during a meeting.

According to the reporting by the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran International Exhibitions Company (I.I.E.C PR), during a meeting that took place on the sidelines of the inauguration of the Islamic Republic Iran Solo Exhibition in Yerevan, Advisor to the Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade, Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of the I.R.IRAN International Exhibitions Company, Dr. Hassan Zamani and the Ambassador of our country to Armenia, Dr. Abbas Badakhshan Zohuri discussed and exchanged views to each other on common issues.

In this meeting; Dr. Zamani referred to the high capacity of holding overseas exhibitions on the non-oil exports development and said: "Holding the Islamic Republic Iran Solo Exhibition in Armenia, Eurasia Solo Exhibition and similar exhibitions are a big step of economic development of our country in line with government goals and among the goals which are set in the articles of association of the I.R.IRAN International Exhibitions Company as the main trustee of holding domestic and foreign exhibitions and strengthening the private sector in this field too."

Also, Dr. Badakhshan Zohori pointing out that Armenia is a strategic region to play a hub role to expand trade and economic relations between Iran and the countries of the Eurasian region and it is a gateway to this region. So, it is so important on the need to expand trade activities with this country. He emphasized the importance of relations with this region in order to compensate for the trade deficits and shortcomings that have taken place in the past years.
